Why Simplifying & Healing Matters After Trauma

In 2019, my life reset in a way I could never have imagined. I was singing in church when I had a stroke at just 48 years old. The following year, I faced another life-changing challenge: cancer. These moments forced me to slow down, strip away the noise, and start over, simplifying not just my schedule, but how I lived, loved, and healed.

That journey is the heart of Simplify & Heal. This isn’t just a channel, it’s a supportive space for individuals and families navigating transitions, especially those impacted by incarceration or other hard seasons. Here, you’ll find:

✨ Guidance on Notary Services ✨ Marriage Officiation 💍✨ Document Organization  ✨ Family Resources -stress-reducing tools, community support, and encouragement for families rebuilding life after trauma.

Starting fresh is never easy, especially after trauma, loss, or major life changes. This week highlights the importance of simplifying and healing past trauma, and I couldn’t be more excited to share why this space exists and how it can support you.

ðŸŽĨ In my first video, “Why Simplifying & Healing Matters After Trauma,” I share my story and set the tone for what’s ahead. Healing is a journey, not a destination, and sometimes the first step is simply choosing to simplify. Whether that means clearing out clutter, saying no to what drains you, or asking for help, it all matters.

ðŸŽĨ In a short video, I highlight “One Small Way to Simplify Your Day Right Now.” Because healing doesn’t always come from grand gestures. Often, it’s the tiny shifts, the things you can do today, that create momentum.

ðŸŽĨ And for those navigating legal and life transitions, I recorded a service spotlight: “What a Trauma-Informed Notary Can Do for You.” Many of us know how overwhelming paperwork, legal documents, or family milestones can be, especially if you’re carrying the weight of grief, incarceration, or uncertainty. My approach as a notary isn’t just about stamps and signatures; it’s about meeting you where you are, with compassion and understanding.

ðŸŒą This supportive community is for individuals and families navigating life’s transitions. I especially hold space for those impacted by incarceration, because I understand the ripple effects it can create across families, paperwork, and emotional healing.

Healing begins with being seen, supported, and understood. That’s why I’m so excited to share that this fall, I’m launching the 🍂 Simplify & Heal Small Group Coaching - Fall 2025 program. This intimate group experience will help you take practical steps to simplify your days, repurpose your challenges, and restore hope in your journey forward.
