Spring Gardening Updates: Patience, Grace, and Planting Again Spring gardening has a way of teaching lessons far beyond the garden bed. This season has reminded me that gardening takes patience, consistency, and grace. Patience With Planting and Germination Not every seed sprouts right away. Some germinate quickly, while others take their time. Sometimes it may seem like nothing is happening, but underneath the soil, important work is still being done. Gardening reminds me that growth does not always happen on demand. Waiting is part of the process. Just because I do not see results yet does not mean the seed is not doing what it needs to do. Planting Continuously for Year-Round Variety One thing I continue to appreciate is planting seeds continuously instead of all at once.
