#SelfCareSunday:The tastiest way to get more curcumin
golden milk
Warm, soothing golden milk tastes more like a treat than a health tonic. We love this simple drink because it perfectly blends the anti-inflammatory and anti-viral goodness of curcumin -- the active compound in turmeric -- with a lightly spiced flavor reminiscent of chai. Try golden milk as a relaxing evening drink.
Easy Golden Milk
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp of ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Pinch of black pepper
Directions:
Add ingredients to a small sauce pan over medium heat. Whisk frequently until frothy. Remove from heat just before mixture boils (about 3-5 minutes). Makes 2 servings.
