Self Care First in 2021-How to do YOU in peace!

We all know the cliches and quotes, but Self Care is really simple. It all boils down to balance in all areas of your life. "Say what you mean, and mean what you say." Always take a few moments to think before speaking, and be clear with your boundaries you set for people. Have consequences in place for those that cross your boundaries, and don't be afraid to announce them. Do the work that brings you and GOD joy. If you can't, do what you have to do without sacrifycing your morals until you get to your goal. Don't worry about what people say or think about you because they will always have something to say. Turn it around and use it for inspiration to perfect your gift and trade. Always add to your bucket list as you check things off. Remember there is "Nothing to it, but to do it!" So be like NIKE and "Just do it." When planning, no negative thinking is allowed (I can't do this.) , and no minimum wage thinking allowed (I don't have money for this.) Instead adopt a mindset of "How can I make this happen?" or What do I need to do to raise the money to pay for this? It all starts with a plan, and you light it up with action and positive energy. Surround yourself with people that bring positive energy in your space. If they don't, put space between you and them immediately. Don't second guess yourself or talk about them with others in a negative light. Follow your instincts and no discussion is necessary. Focus on the things in your control. With so many changes and restrictions we have encountered due to the pandemic it can be frustrating. Don't sweat the trivial stuff. When negative thoughts and doubt enter your mind, let the devil know you are not leasing out space in your head. Tell him to keep it moving as you divert to positive thoughts and happy times. Remind yourself of your gifts you have been blessed with and what GOD says about you rather than what the world says about you. Relationships are an ever moving situation. Knowing that, follow your instincts, slow down to hear from GOD, and if your spirit is uneasy around individuals or groups remove yourself from the environment. Put out there in the universe what you want in return, but go into EVERY relationship not expecting anything. If you are wronged, FORGIVE and learn. Move differently in the next scenario. Take time for yourself daily. Fill your mind with knowledge by reading positive and self enrichment materials. Give thanks and show gratidue while you meditate. Do things that make you happy on a daily even if it's only for a few minutes. Take time out to nourishyourself mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally daily, no excuses allowed.
Eat and drink foods that support your unique body desires and needs. Eating healthier takes time and effort to reevaluate your thoughts about your relationship with food. Take some time to think about what makes you feel and look your best. Take time to plan your shopping lists and meals. Cut out time to utilize coupons and discounts. Make an effort to exercise daily. Even if you are like me, and don't like reporting to a gym. I get up and walk a minimum of 250 steps per hour inside while working towards a goal of 500 steps per hour. Along with everytime I resport to the restroom, I challenge myself to do 40 squats. Basically, it's a mindset adjustment on your journey to a BALANCED LIFE. So take the time to invest in yourself because if you are running around on empty, you don't have anything to give your loved ones.
