Families Are Breaking Apart Over Stress, Entitlement, and Unspoken Hurt & Here's How We Can Heal

Families Are Breaking Apart Over Stress, Entitlement, and Unspoken Hurt & Here's How We Can Heal Many families are struggling right now. Rising costs, economic uncertainty, caregiving responsibilities, health concerns, job losses, and everyday stress are putting enormous pressure on relationships. Unfortunately, when people are stressed, they often stop showing appreciation, stop communicating effectively, and begin focusing only on their own needs. Over time, these small cracks can become deep divides. Families that once gathered around dinner tables now barely speak. Siblings become estranged. Parents feel used and unappreciated. Adult children feel misunderstood. Loans between family members go unpaid, creating resentment and distrust. Some people develop tunnel vision, convincing themselves they don't need anyone and forgetting the value of community, family, and mutual support. The result? Broken relationships, hurt feelings, and generations carrying emotional wounds...

Spicy ๐Ÿ…Tomato Bisque slow ๐ŸŒ cooker soup

Another Slow ๐ŸŒ sleepy ๐Ÿ˜ด Sunday. I decided to make a hearty soup ๐Ÿฒ that I could take my time adding ingredients to and not have to babysit a pot .

I researched a few recipes online and picked and chose which ingredients I wanted to add in my soup.
I selected the following ingredients:

Very ripe tomatoes on my counter
Olive oil
Canned whole tomatoes
Red onion
Celery
Basil
Minced garlic
Salt
Pepper ๐ŸŒถ
๐Ÿ‹ Lemon pepper
Paprika
Cayenne pepper
Chicken stock
Jasmine rice ๐Ÿš ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿ˜
Sugar
Heavy whipping cream

Cooking
I.
Preheated convection oven to 400
Chopped very ripe tomatoes and discarded seeds into compost

Laid the halves on a pan
Sprinkled with olive oil, basil, salt and pepper

Roasted for 30 minutes

II.
I turned crock pot on high
Put Olive Oil in
Chopped Onion ๐ŸŒฐ, Celery, added to the pot, stirred
Added Salt, Pepper ๐ŸŒถ, and Lemon ๐Ÿ‹ Pepper
Let cook until onions turned translucent
Added Paprika and Cayenne pepper ๐ŸŒถ

III.
Put a pot on the stove and turned it to medium high heat

Transferred roasted tomatoes and canned tomatoes into pot

Let come to a boil

Added Jasmine uncooked rice, stirred, let boil for a minute

IV.
Transferred contents of pot into Crock pot
Stirred
Slow cooked until rice was done
Added sugar
Pureed with immersion mixer
Added Heavy whipping cream, mixed, added more seasoning to taste

Note-
You may substitute Heavy whipping cream with Coconut ๐Ÿฅฅ milk

The rice ๐Ÿš is not necessary, but it helps thicken
What's your favorite Fall soup?
